Temporary Part Time
30 hours per week
Saturday through Tuesday
11:00am – 7:00pm
Graduation from a program in institutional or residential quantity cooking, or equivalent. One year of related cooking experience.
Duties include preparing, cooking, baking, and serving meals and snacks, including those for special dietary needs and special occasions, in accordance with safety and health standards and the menu plan. Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of cooking facilities and equipment. Reviewing the meal preparation needs of the facility. Assisting in maintaining an inventory of food and other related items.
Must have the ability to work as a productive and interactive team member, to deal effectively and calmly in crisis situations. Strong oral and written communication skills. Food Safe Level 1, negative TB test results, and consent to criminal record check.
