Nature of Position

Permanent Part Time
Four Open Positions of 22.5 – 30 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 2:30pm
Friday – Sunday 6:30am – 2:30pm
Sunday – Wednesday 2:00pm – 9:30pm
Thursday – Saturday 2:00pm – 9:30pm

Rate of Pay

As per Collective Agreement – Grid Level 13-P-LPN

Requirements

Graduation from an approved Practical Nursing Program. Current Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant. Minimum of one year’s experience working in home and community care, assisted living, or equivalent.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills

Working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Practice Nurse provides personal care, nursing procedures, conducts resident visits, and completes assessments to ensure quality client care. The role assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care at Ironwood Place assisted living in accordance with the competency guidelines within the Professional Standards outlined by the appropriate provincial licensing body and the current legislative scope of practice.
