Nature of Position

Permanent Full Time, 30 hours per week
Monday – Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm
Female Only BFOR

As per Collective Agreement – Grid Level 10

Requirements

Class 4 Drivers license is required. Current First Aid and CPR, negative TB test results, current Criminal Record Check as per society policy, Food Safe Certification and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention also required. Access to a phone may be required, when out in the community. Must be willing to swim on a regular basis.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills

Human Services Worker Certification or certification in a relevant field preferred. Three-to-six-month prior job experience (paid or volunteer), working with people with developmental disabilities. Must display a proven ability to work with individuals calmly and effectively with complex support needs and behaviors. Must display enthusiasm, energy, and a willingness to be flexible in adapting to a varied schedule.
