PALMER PLACE

Palmer Place is a 24-unit permanent supportive housing complex for persons with developmental disabilities, and/or women with children who need affordable housing. Palmer Place is a partnership between the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society and Rivercity Inclusion which offers long term housing to those on a limited fixed income.

Conditions of residing at Palmer Place:

  • Must meet the income requirement for subsidized housing as determined by BC Housing
  • Must register online with BC Housing
  • Must complete the housing application form below
  • Must be able to follow all policies and rules of the Palmer Place

Who is eligible?

  • An adult with a diverse ability that can reside independently
  • Women who have successfully resided at Rose Harbour and have a referral from Campbell River and North Island Transition Society

What are the Housing Costs?

  • This housing is subsidized by BC Housing and the costs are either 30% of income or your income assistance shelter portion
