The Manager of Staffed Living is responsible for overseeing the operations of Rivercity Inclusion’s staffed homes and BC Housing properties. The role provides leadership and direction to the Supervisors and employees under the portfolio and ensures programs and services are provided in alignment with the Society’s Vision, Mission, Values and strategic direction.
On-call availability is a requirement of this role.
As a key member of the administration team, you implement the goals of the strategic plan, and be responsible for the driving and meeting accreditation and certification requirements.. Your experience in staffed living will be vital in maintaining high-level relationships with community partners, licensing agencies, and funding bodies.
On the financial and human resources fronts, you will partner with the Program Director and Financial Controller to manage budgets, authorize payroll, and ensure all services align with funding expectations, deliverables, and requirements. You will also lead workforce management, from recruitment and onboarding to conflict resolution and performance management of unionized staff.

The ideal candidate holds a post-secondary degree in Social Work, or a related field, complemented by at least three years of recent management experience in human services and direct program delivery in staffed homes. You are a proven leader with a background in supervising teams, fostering a positive workplace culture, and modeling a respectful attitude toward clients and colleagues alike. Your technical expertise includes advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and large ERP systems, alongside a deep familiarity with CLBC frameworks.
