Nature of Position

Job description

Rivercity Inclusion Society is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to advocate and provide services for people with specials needs, and their families, who live in the Campbell River area. Our Dogwood Place Child & Youth Development Centre offers a family-centered approach to children and youth who have, or who may have, a developmental delay.

In consultation with the family, the Occupational Therapist offers quality services to children with developmental delays in order to enable optimal function and facilitate participation in all aspects of life. The Occupational Therapist will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive early intervention services.

Requirements

  • Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized school of physiotherapy
  • Membership and registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
  • Pediatric training considered an asset
