Nature of Position

Permanent Part Time
Monday 8:30am – 3:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am – 3:00pm
Friday 9am – 2pm

Rate of Pay

As per Collective Agreement – Paraprofessional Wage Grid Level 16-P-PT

Requirements

Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized school of physiotherapy. Membership and registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. Pediatric training and relevant experience.
Must have current Criminal Record Check as per Society policy, negative TB test result, First Aid and CPR. Also, must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity and/or experience with a family centered collaborative service model. Knowledge of group processes and facilitation skills an asset. Ability to administer and interpret results from assessment tools. Sound clinical judgement in providing assessment and intervention. Ability to function and contribute as a team member, maintaining a professional attitude and confidentiality of client and family information.
