Nature of Position

Permanent Part Time: 24 hours per week
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
8am-4pm

Requirements

The Life Skills Worker provides a variety of support services including life skills development, problem solving, and community based recreational, social and educational activities to all tenants at Palmer Place. The Life Skills Worker promotes a common vision and housing philosophy and is part of building an effective and enthusiastic team.

Valid Class IV Driver’s License, current First Aid and CPR, TB test results, Hep B immunization, current Criminal Record Check as per Association policy, and Food Safe Certification.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills

Certificate in a related human/social service field or recreation course. One-year recent related experience working with people with developmental disabilities (paid or volunteer).
