29.5 hours per week
Monday 8:30 – 4pm, Tues 8:30 -4pm, Wed 8:30 – 3:45, Thurs 8:30 – 3:45
Current first aid and CPR, FoodSafe, negative TB test results, physician’s approval, current Criminal Record Check as per Association policy, valid Class 4 Driver’s license preferred.
Post-secondary education in business, marketing or public relations. Six to twelve months prior job experience working in career services. Minimum three months’ work experience working with people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Ability to problem solve with participants as well as determine their needs and wants. Knowledge of teaching strategies and assessment techniques. Knowledge of WorkSafe BC Regulations & Employment Standards. Self-motivated and high energy individual with knowledge of community resources and employment opportunities. Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
