The role of Residential Care Wworker involves working as a member of a team responsible for assisting the residents, who have varying levels of developmental disabilities, with activities of daily living and to provide opportunities to promote independence and self-esteem. The worker is responsible for introducing and implementing ideas and activities that will increase the resident’s independence and social skills.
This is not a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm role. The job involves shifts between the hours of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. For which you will receive a competitive rate of pay (paid bi-weekly), great benefits including paid vacation leave, extended health, Municipal pension plan, continuous learning, and development plus much more.

Requirements:
First Aid and CPR, Covid-19 vaccination certificate / secured exemption (as per the recent Public Health Order), negative TB test result, Criminal Record Check, Physicians Approval of Health, and Food Safe Certification. Upon successful recruitment and selection process we will discuss how to obtain these.
