#3089 Program Coordinator / Supervisor

Position:

Nature of position:

Permanent Full-Time
40 hours per week. Plus on-call.

Rate of pay:

As per Collective Agreement - Grid Level 14

Location:

Simms Road Group Home

Requirements:

Five+ years' experience in the field, demonstrating progressive program management of at least 8 staff. Relevant post-secondary education in social services, human services, or a related field and/or an appropriate combination of education and experience. Specialized training in leadership or management, or relevant experience. Valid Class IV Driver's license. Current First Aid and CPR. Negative TB test results. Clear Criminal Record Check. Food Safe Certification.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills:

Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations and to remain calm in difficult situations while ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Ability to lead, and to build an effective team, manage personnel and performance issues in a progressive manner. Strong problem solving and program development skills. Strong critical thinking and communication skills. Able to build effective working relationships with other professionals, family members, and organizations to ensure services are in the client's best interest and supportive of their goals. Ability to provide conflict resolution with clients, their families, and staff. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Must be able to work within a specified budget.
